As expected, we already have seen a prime example of the Detroit Lions red zone issues. 1st and goal at the Raiders 4, and the Lions manage to blow a primo scoring chance.

1st down - Incomplete pass
2nd down - Run, 1 yard loss
3rd down - Raiders INT

So in other words, nothing has changed with Jon Kitna,. Great stats, as he was 8-11-95 in the 1st quarter, but with a huge turnover to kill a scoring opportunity.

As for the Lions, 9 yards rushing on 5 attempts says it all.
