O'Neal was quoted by TNT's David Aldridge on tonight's "Inside the NBA." According to Aldridge, O'Neal says he'd like the Pacers to be the number 8 seed in the Eastern Confrence playoffs so they could face the Pistons. O'Neal thought the Pacers, with Peja Stojakovic at small foward, and if Steven Jackson and himself are healthy, match up with the Pistons and will beat Detroit in a 7 game playoff series.

Sir Charles also stated that all five Pistons starters should be named to the All-Star game.

I can't see how the Pistons won't cruise to the finals. The East has talented teams, but they struggle to put together long stretches of greatness the way the Pistons do.
