The Mliver's are up in arms today. (To be honest, they are always up in arms, but whatever...) Why? Two words. Mike Martz.

Today's CotD comes from the Killer's article rehashing the "Will he stay, or will he go?" question regarding Martz's future with the Lions. Jon Kitna chimed in, for better or worse, put his full support behind Martz, and his pass every down scheme.

As you might guess, the loopy Mliver's feelings are mixed on the subject of Martz. Many are ready to let him walk. Others say offense is not the problem, it's all about the defense. Of course, there's a big faction that claims nothing will male a difference, that there is no hope at all, while another faction believes any criticism of the Lions means you aren't a true fan.

But one Mliver gets it, osgood. (Chris? We can only hope.) Along with being a good goaltender, osgood is short, succinct, and straight to the point.

The Lions are already mathematically eliminated from next years playoffs.

Now that's a true fan who knows his Lions football!
